Kitchen Renovation

We took advantage of the weekend trailer dumpster service that Kong Construction offers, and it was so helpful! Jay delivered the trailer at the end of the week and picked it up Sunday evening. He tarps it and dumps it making it an easy weekend cleanup job for us.

Picking up the phone to call someone when something has gone wrong with your house is the probably one of the worst calls you have to make. Kong construction is who you want on the other end to pick up that phone call. Our ceiling in our kitchen had started flooding after a patch in the attic we were unaware of from the previous owner gave in. Jay and Luis did such a fast and efficient job and truly went above and beyond fixing our house up for us. Could not recommend these guys more!

We bought our first home last year, newly flipped and really believed everything was done right. Earlier this week with all of the heavy rains, we found out everything was not done right and a patch that we were not told about in our attic finally gave in causing our ceiling in our kitchen to start flooding (at night of course). Jay came out the next morning for us and found a couple different spots in our roof that needed patching. Came out 2 days later to fix these problems for us, upon finding more and had it all fixed up for us. We are so thankful for Jay and Luis for going above and beyond for us. You always want a company you can trust to do an amazing job and not try to rip you off either. I wholeheartedly recommend Jay and his team, they are exactly what you hope for when you pick up the phone to call for help when things go wrong with your home! Thank you guys again for your fast and efficient work. You guys made a very frustrating situation so much smoother than we thought it would be!

ABSOLUTELY amazing service, I put in a request for a gutter and within 15 minutes they pulled up and told me they'd be by the next day! I couldn't believe how amazing that was! Very very nice and accommodating , they came out the same week to replace our gutter too! ❤️❤️❤️

Jay and his team from Kong Construction completely rebuilt our deck. I can't say enough good things about the process. Luis and his 2 coworkers were respectful of our property and cleaned up everyday they worked. The deck was very well constructed and ended up being more beautiful than we had hoped. We did have a few issues that needed attention at the end but Jay had all of them fixed/corrected in a very timely manner and we were happy with the final outcome. I'm adding photos now that we got the furniture in place.

Kong Construction did a great job putting my kitchen back together after a water leak that required everything to be taken out. They were very professional, thorough, tidy and the kitchen looks great! Jay went above and beyond by going to bat for me with the insurance adjuster who was quite difficult to work with. Instead of just saying “let me know when you’ve gotten approval”, he sent numerous emails and even contacted a number of “top dogs” at the insurance company which got things moving. I would definitely use them again for a future project and would give them 10 stars instead of five if I could!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Quality work, easy to schedule, and reasonably priced.

Kong Construction came in and far exceeded our expectations! They refinished our stairs, hung a door, and put down new flooring on our entire first floor in just 3.5 days for an extremely reasonable price! Previously they have also replaced our garage roof (shingles and some boards underneath), fixed a build out on the side of our house that was falling apart, and are removing a tree that fell. There is literally no job too big or small for this wonderful crew! Thank you again Kong Construction!

Jay and his team created my dream kitchen. Demo took it down to the studs and the craftsmanship and attention to detail can be seen throughout. His crew was fun to have around and they left the area clean at the end of the day. They stayed on budget, worked well with the city and finished in the timeframe we needed.

Kong came out after I started having issues with a tankless water heater installed by a different company. They immediately identified the incorrect installation and were able to get it fixed right away.

We had Kong Construction put in all new vinyl flooring throughout the house and new carpet in the bedroom. They also leveled out some pretty nasty dips in my subfloor from recent water damage. Jay, the owner, was very easy to communicate with and prompt with replies. He even had my quote done quicker than I had expected. Jay responded quickly and did an amazing job! And while this was just a small project, I know the big ones look great, too. My dad had to have his kitchen remodeled after a small fire, and Kong construction made the process so easy and seamless. Even though state farm was complicating matters with filing the claim, Jay was extremely patient and professional about the whole ordeal. Kong construction did a fabulous job laying 1200 square feet of vinyl flooring for us. It totally changed the look of our whole home. They were friendly, courteous, and very fast. I called them, and my floors were done by the next week. We got hit by a tornado during our remodel and they also repaired our facia. They cleaned up after themselves too. I really hate to give them a good review, however, because I don’t want them to be too busy to come at a moments notice. Lol. I will be calling them again soon, to do the rest of my honey do list.

These guys did such a amazing job on cutting a exterior wall and putting in a new door along with adding a composite deck to a existing deck for easier access to the backyard. These guys are our construction hero’s!! After being ripped off. By another contractor. On a bathroom remodel. To make a Handicap accessible bathroom. For my 88 year old father. We where left. Came out last minute on Christmas eve to fix a busted water pipe due to these -30 degree Temps. Can't thank Kong and Jashar enough for literally saving Christmas. We had a leak in our ceiling and Kong came over within the hour to check it out. They repaired the leak the same day and it was as good as new. They even took the time to clean up their mess and then some. We will 100% use them again!
